Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
Glucostats is an educational analytics tool available at www.glucostats.app. This policy explains how uploaded data is handled.
Data Handling
- CSV files may contain glucose readings and related health data. By running an analysis, you consent to Glucostats processing the data you provide for the purpose of generating your report.
- CSV files are processed in-memory for analysis and are not stored after the session.
- Generated report objects are kept in-memory and expire automatically (default: 30 minutes).
- No account is required to use core analysis features.
Analytics
Analytics is used purely to help develop and improve Glucostats — primarily to understand where the tool is being used and how visitors arrive, so the project can be maintained and prioritised. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose, and your uploaded glucose data is never sent to any analytics provider.
- Lightweight in-house usage events (for example, page views and which export buttons are used) are counted to gauge feature usage.
- Glucostats also uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand traffic sources, approximate location, and device/browser type. This service is provided by Google, sets cookies and similar identifiers in your browser, and shares this technical data with Google. See Firebase Privacy and Google's Privacy Policy for details.
- No account, name, or contact information is collected, and no uploaded CGM data is included in any analytics.
- Private mode can be turned on at any time using the toggle in the top bar. While Private mode is on, no in-house events are sent and Google Analytics for Firebase is not loaded at all — no data is sent to Google.
Medical Disclaimer
Glucostats provides informational summaries of data you provide. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment guidance. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions.
